Mr Cecil Coleman
It is with sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Coleman.
Many of you will have known him over the many years he worked, managed and owned Arthur Beale. He started working for the Company in 1956 and remained actively involved until last year – a truly remarkable 59 years. He started as a shop assistant and rose to become General Manager for many years before purchasing the company itself in 1994. His contribution to Arthur Beale cannot be understated. Without a doubt, if it hadn’t been for Mr Coleman the company would not still be here. He will be missed.
His health had declined in the last few months and he died peacefully in Barnet Hospital on Saturday 30th January.
