Guy Cotten Genuine Breton Cap
Genuine Cameret Breton Cap
This is the traditional cap worn by the fishermen of North France. The Cameret Cap has braiding around the peak and the base of the hat. The cap is very hard wearing made from 70% wool and 30% polyamide. It is warm and comfortable and provides good protection from the sun and rain. The design is such that it is unlikely to get blown away in a gust. Inside it has a tag saying Royal Navy which seems odd as Louis XVI was guillotined in 1793 but there again Cork still has the Royal Cork Yacht Club so I suppose these transitions do take a while.
