Building and Sailing a Traditional Wooden Boat in The Arctic: An expedition to Jan Mayen and East Greenland

A talk by Will Stirling

Will built the stunning yacht "Integrity". It is one of the most beautiful yachts sailing today with proper traditional planked decks, a good old fashioned wood burning stove, paraffin Taylors cooker, Baby Blake heads and a trailing log. But this is no show boat. Will has taken her on some intrepid Arctic adventures. We will hear all about building this yacht and his amazing expeditions up north. There will also be a chance to ask questions afterwards.

The talk was organised before the lockdown and obviously it is no longer allowed to go ahead in the usual manner as a gathering in the lovely Vestry Hall. So instead we are going to Zoom the meeting at 19:00 on the evening of 21st May.
We will email everyone on our mail list with the necessary link and pass code. If you would like to attend this free event why not sign up to our mailing list via the contacts page of this website?
This is definately a talk not to be missed!
