The Cruel Sea - Film Showing - This Thursday!

Thursday 3rd December 1830 for 1845 start.

Arthur Beale’s second film showing will be The Cruel Sea, the 1953 British war film based on the novel by Nicholas Monsarrat. Entrance is normally £5.00 but you can be sneaky and get in free by one of the following crafty methods

A) Wear a duffle coat. It will be FREE entrance to anyone wearing a duffle coat!
B) Buy one of our top quality Arthur Beale enamel mugs. Anyone weilding an Arthur Beale mug will get in FREE.They cost £12.50 each or £20.00 for two. Cocoa will be served free of charge to Christen it.
C) Spend £15.00 in the shop on anything at all during the same day and show your reciept at the door and you will get in FREE.
D) Climb in the window. We don't recommend this method as it will involve breaking the glass and sawing through some lovely historic wooden shutters. It will only save you a fiver and we will probably notice all the commotion.

Meet at Arthur Beale’s at 6.30 ready for the short walk to the church hall for the viewing starting at 6.45

We will be announcing the winner of our photo competition before the film.

Still some seats available.
