Arthur Beale Shipping Forecast Tea Towel

Viking, Forties, Dogger, Fisher, Sole. The Shipping Forecast is a much-loved staple of BBC Radio. My new expanded and revised 2023 third edition Shipping Forecast Map is now available printed as a tea towel.

It shows the BBC Radio 4 and Met Office Forecast regions including their coordinates, the coastal weather stations of the British Isles, all the new additions to the second edition map including the Inshore Waters, Beaufort Scale, maritime signal flags, and the third edition brings a few additional decorations: a gannet, another ship in the Bay of Biscay, and the antique radio is playing ‘Sailing By’.
