About our Rum
The Buccaneer's Choice Sea Salted Spiced Rum
Caribbean Spiced Rum exquisitely infused with Sea Salt.
Rum has never been far away from life at Sea. Sailors, Explorers, Adventurers and Pirates all considered Rum a staple on board any vessel. In 1740 Admiral Vernon introduced a daily Rum tot in the Royal Navy and this was not abolished until 1970!
A tot may sound like a small measure but when it was first introduces it was one pint of Rum per day!
We are delighted to launch our own Rum - it has been over a year in the making - involving countless tastings and tweaks to our recipe to get the perfect sea salted flavour.
We are very excited by the finished version! It is blend of three rums, the main part is from a rum made by Demerera Distillery in Guyana with smaller amounts from West Indian Rum Distillers in Barbados and Worthy Park in Jamaica
Our sea inspired Rum reflects the spirit of exploration through the ages and is perfect to put the wind in the sails for your next adventure..
Tasting note:
Wonderful coffee & caramel complexity, velvety smooth on the palate
with a delightful slightly salty rich warm finish
We think our Rum is the perfect ingredient in a Dark and Stormy cocktail although we think grapefruit juice instead of Lime Juice works better with Arthur Beale Rum.
The Arthur Beale Dark and Stormy Cocktail recipe
50ml Arthur Beale Sea Salted Spiced Rum,
25ml grapefruit juice, 100ml ginger beer
and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters. Stir gently
together in a highball glass with ice and add
a slice of grapefruit.
After drinking:
The beautifully designed bottles can be used a candle lantern or simply place a string of battery string lights inside the bottle

About our Gin
A delicious Seaweed & Samphire London Dry Gin
Expertly crafted with that signature flavour of the wild sea. Our Arthur Beale Gin is infused with samphire and specially harvested seaweed.
