Senior Sales Staff
Arthur Beale is a 400 year old yacht chandler which is currently being re-invigorated to turn it into a well-known name in the yachting world.
We are now looking for a new member of staff to join our friendly team. We need someone who knows their way around the products that we stock. The successful applicant must be able to engage with our clients and be confident to advise them on a range of subjects.
In order to do this the applicant may have worked in a chandlery before or perhaps have owned, sailed or maintained boats so that they are familiar with hardware, ropes, paints and all the associated gear used on yachts and motorboats.
In an ideal world they would have an in depth knowledge of a particular sector of marine products whether that is dinghy sailing, expedition yachting or perhaps painting and varnishing, electronics, rope splicing or mechanics.
Work would be in our central London shop and would involve some rostered weekend and evening working. On occasions they may need to attend trade shows or perhaps visit owner’s boats.
Pay would be competitive and would depend on experience.
