Copper Anchor Light with Dioptric Lens
Although strictly speaking not approved to current regulations, these oil navigation lamps are still very effective at night and could be considered as a backup to any other electric navigation lights fitted. In fact many seafarers, myself included, believe them to be far more effective than masthead anchor lights which get lost amongst the stars. The warm glow from this lamp hung in the fore-triangle will ensure a safe night at anchor. They also make an excellent emergency navigation light if all else fails.
