Riddle of the Sands Film Showing - Plus more!

On 2nd July we will be having a tremendous evening showing the film Riddle of the Sands with Michael York. The evening will be hosted by Tim Wright and Lloyd Shepherd of the Riddle of the Sands Adventure Club - who are highly entertaining!

It will be a very special evening for anyone who loves this classic yachting tale said to be the first ever spy thriller. Book quickly as we are filling up!

The Nicopress System of Terminating Wire Ropes

Wire Rope Terminations We will be demonstrating the correct method of terminating wire ropes using Nicopress Ferrules and Tools. We will explain the different types of wire ropes available plus give a short description of all the termination options including ferrule secured eyes using our hydraulic press and roll swaged fittings. There will be a hands on session with Nicopress tools. We will calculate the correct Working Load Limit and Breaking Load for one of the wire assemblies you make and put it to a destruction test to prove the point. Informative and great fun!...

If you are still thinking about going to the Beale Park Boat Show then that's tough because it is all over! Our stripey stand is all packed away and most of the goods have been put back in the wrong place at the shop. I know the show pretty well because we used to exhibit under the guise of Flints Marine but because of the kerfuffle with the take over of Arthur Beale's we decided to skip the show last year. Things have changed a bit while we were away.
