The Most Useful Christmas Gift EVER!

Arthur  Beale Lifeventure Thermal Mug
This maybe the best environmental and financial investment you’ll ever make! Give up plastic cups and buy one of these splendid thermal mugs. If you are in the habit of buying a couple of takeaway coffees each day you will probably be spending over £1,000 a year. Why not fill this thermal mug up at home. You will save one plastic cup and a couple of pounds. The coffee will stay warm well into the afternoon so you might find you don't need a top up but if you do you will find most coffeee shops offer 50p discount if you bring your own mug. So at the end of week one you will have saved about £15.00 and at least five plastic cups!

You've already made a profit because this lovely double walled stainless steel thermal mug only costs £13.99! By the end of the year you can buy those new sails you promised yourself!

We have tested these cups for years and decided they are so good we would like our name engraved on them. Can you really afford to go another week without one!

20,000 Leagues Under The Sea - Film Show Thursday 6th December 18:45 to 20:45

20,000 Leagues Under The Sea - Film Show Thursday 6th December 18:45 to 20:45
We finally made up our dithering minds and decided to maintain the underwater theme set by our award winning* shop window by chosing "20,000 Leagues under the Sea" for our Christmas Film. It has to be said that 20,000 leagues is a very long way down. In fact, not only would my dive watch start leaking, but you would pop out the other side. However, let's not get pedantic, it's a great film and it is the first ever example of Steam Punk. I doubt I can back that up with evidence but I'm sure I...

Seven Dials Late Night Shopping Event - Thursday 15th November

This isn't really our event at all, but we decided we would tag along. The Seven Dials shops are providing traffic free streets, a curling alley, an orchestra and loads of discount in shops, restuarants and bars. They have installed beautiful Christmas lights to decorate the streets. Arthur Beale isn't actually in Seven Dials but we are just two steps away so we can join in all the fun (without having to pay for it- yipee!). What's more, we have the weirdest Christmas Window in town. So come along on Thursday evening between 17:00 and 21:00 and we will give you a staggering 20% discount on...

However, let's not get pedantic, it's a great film and it is the first ever example of Steam Punk. I doubt I can back that up with evidence but I'm sure I read it somewhere. The film is definitely a Disney classic starring Kirk Douglas (wearing red and...

Slow Fashion from Arthur Beale!

Slow Fashion from Arthur Beale!
There has been a lot of talk about the fashion industry selling clothes that are so cheap and poorly made that they get worn just once and then thrown away. Their low value makes them of little interest to second-hand shops and the widespread use of plastic fibres means they won’t biodegrade. The designs are short live d, nobody w ants to be seen in last months designs. At Arthur Beale we believe in clothing that will last for years. It will never go out of fashion. All our Arthur Beale branded...
