Barnaby Barford features Arthur Beale's at the V & A

Evening Standard 3rd September 2015

The Standard ran a feature article on a project by Barnaby Barford. He has spent two years creating 3,000 china replicas of retail outlets from every postcode in London. The results are assembled as a teetering tower at the V&A.

The article says:

"Many iconic stores feature in the tower, including Harrods and Selfridges, and quirkier London Institutions such as Arthur Beale's Chandlery in Shaftesbury Avenue and Bagel Bake in Brick Lane. Others didn't make the final cut. "So in a way, it's my London - a map of things I found interesting"

The pieces will be on sale for between £90 and £6,000 and a daily favourite is featured on his website  http://www.barnabybarford.co.uk/.

Good to see Arthur Beale's is in the Tower. I must get along and have a look.
